The Music
Playing Standards with High Standards
Clowns of the Sun is a trio of long-time New Orleans musicians who are out to create something different: a musical experience that is simultaneously professional and joyful — that grounds listeners in traditional American jazz improvisation while opening new musical worlds and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Expect experienced, high-quality musicians that are straight-ahead enough to bring home to mom — or a fancy Christmas party — but swingin' enough to let everyone know this ain't Kansas, it's New Orleans.
